Job Description: Business / Systems Analyst Nottingham £30-34K My client, an expanding solutions provider seeks an individual with strong communication skills and attention to detail for the role of Business / Systems Analyst. The role requires that you are able to pro-actively participate in discussions during the conception of business ideas, including analysing the feasibility of proposed solutions and providing high level impact assessments of proposed solutions. Essential to the role is direct hands on experience with XML, XSD, CSV etc.This may involve the re-using of an existing XML document format - or it may include designing your own XML document format. It is also expected that you are able to design solutions that meet requirements, liaise with the relevant business stakeholders about their requirements and in turn identify their needs and manage client expectations effectively. Suitable candidates should be able to specify interfaces and possess the ability to take a high level design and apply detail, creating the specification and functional design for the software components that need to be built or adjusted. Essentially, candidates must have experience in database and system design , design of critical real-time systems and design of systems with multiple interfaces coupled with experience with Information analysis / functional design tooling. Ultimately candidates should be well organised with the ability to prioritise workload. Whilst far from essential knowledge of Prince 2 would be highly desirable. Typical technologies involved int he role will be SMART, XML, XSD, Use cases, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, ERD, waterfall vs RAD.
